Make-Up Tips
Along with great cosmetics and skin care you also can be an active participant in toning and firming the various muscles of your face. Since it’s so much easier to follow visual instructions, here are three videos that clearly demonstrate simple exercises that work for reducing “crows-feet,” under-eye bags, double chins and those sagging jowls you might have inherited from your mom. It also addresses how to tone and lift your cheek area. They recommend repeating each exercise 10 times, at least twice a week, for noticeable results.
In this Howdini.com video, Annelise Hagan, author of The Yoga Face, demonstrates exercises for minimizing eye wrinkles and lifting your brows.
In the second video Hagan discusses the cause of double chins and sagging jowls, and demonstrates several exercises for firming and toning your neck area.
In the third video, Gary Sikorski, creator of Happy Face Yoga, explains and demonstrates how to lift and tone your cheeks and combat bags under your eyes for a more youthful look.
Sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of wine while doing these exercises. You’ll get your laughs in for the day too.

Tweezing
Tweezing… is such a touchy subject. First and foremost your eyebrows are sisters…not twins. You will never be able to make them look identical. So, get over it.
Did you know that if you tweeze after a hot steamy shower it won’t hurt as much? Your pours will be wide open to receive that little pluck.
Your eyebrows frame your face. Don’t avoid or neglect them. They are very important to your overall look. If your brows are naturally thick, don’t over tweeze. Fuller brows make you look younger.
Tweeze in the direction the hair grows. If you’ve ever had an eyebrow hair go rogue on you it’s probably because you’ve tweezed in the opposite direction of hair growth. You could damage the hair follicle if you do it wrong, so be kind to them. You will be rewarded in the long run.
Tweeze both brows at the same time. Go back and forth from one to the other and you’ll be more likely to get them even. (Not identical though). Tweeze one hair at a time. Tweezing in multiples can cause bald spots.
If your eyebrows are quite thin or even non-existent, especially at the ends, try our LashExtend. We’ve sold it to many chemo patients who’ve lost all their lashes and eyebrows. It’s great for growing or making eye-lashes longer and thicker and for the re-growth of eyebrow hair. Unlike some products, there are no prescriptions required or adverse side effects with LashExtend. I’ve been using it and have experienced longer and fuller eyelashes. Even if I do say so myself, they are actually quite flirty looking.
