About Me

Who would have thought that I would ever have a home based business in the cosmetics industry…certainly not me? The process just evolved over the last four years…mostly because of the women I’ve met through networking in the Henderson and Las Vegas area. Selling SeneGence started as a part-time job allowing me the benefit of working from home. I've been able to earn extra income working from home that has funded vacations for my family.

Here is probably more than you ever would want to know about me.


Born: Fresno, California

Where I Live Now: Henderson, Nevada (12 miles south of Las Vegas). I live on a golf course which has a sweeping view of the Red Rock Mountains. I do live in fear of being smacked by a flying golf ball.

All the Cities I’ve ever Lived In: In California I’ve lived in Fresno, Big Bear City, Orange, Glendora, Santa Barbara, Grass Valley, Lake Wildwood, and Nevada City. In Nevada I’ve only lived in Henderson.

Hobbies: Cooking. My favorite evening ritual is to pour myself a glass of wine, search out a mouth watering recipe that can easily be adjusted to ½ the calories and substitute processed foods with organic foods. I adore spending time with my two dogs. I love riding in my golf cart with my handsome husband (of 29 years) Rick and letting the warm desert breezes whistle through my hair. (He doesn’t have much).

Childhood: One of my fondest memories of my childhood was building cities and roadways in my flowerbeds with my best friends. I should have been an architect.

Family: One very ethical and generous husband (Rick), two crazy funny puppies (Katie O – she has a beagle face and a basset hound butt and Tybo who is full of piss and vinegar) two dear friends for life (Ellen and Charmy) and my beautiful sister (Yvonne) who has without complaint been there for me whenever I’ve needed her.

Education: I graduated from Orange High School in California. I graduated from Azusa Pacific College with a BA in Psychology and a Teaching Credential. I almost graduated from LaVerne College with a masters degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.

Professional: I’ve been a Manager of a Pet Department, a Waitress, a File-clerk, Business Manager for a School District, a Statistician, Performance Analyst, Vice-President of an Investment Firm, a Design Consultant for a Closet and Cabinetry Company and a Cosmetic Specialist.

Most Unforgettable Experience: Living in Bermuda for 5 years. Rick and I moved off shore with the investment firm. Living on an Island and in another culture was profound.

Favorite Things: Ice-cream, traveling to places I’ve never been, and putting a smile on women’s faces that don’t think they are pretty.

Biggest Fault: Sometimes I’m too bottom line for my own good.

How I Started my Home Based Business based in Direct Sales as A Distributor with SeneGence Cosmetics and Anti-Aging Skin Care Products: My allergic reaction to lanoline kept lipstick and me at arms distance. I had the driest lips on earth and was the queen of Chap Stick and lip balms which ironically are made for dry lips. I now know these products like Chap Stick can contain drying agents. I met Cathy Hoolihan (Hot Lips Hoolihan) at a networking lunch and being the great sales person she is, introduced me to LipSense. I was blown away with the fact I didn’t react to it not to mention its staying power. I quickly accumulated several colors. After all, I was making up for lost time.

Six months later, Hot Lips convinced me to try the skin care line and I was flabbergasted by the results. Bye bye dry skin and hellooooo to that miracle anti-aging wrinkle cream! I had fewer wrinkles thanks to their magic potion called anti-aging wrinkle cream. It really did make me look younger, just ask my husband.

So to bring this longish story to an end, four years ago, Cathy said, “You know, you love the cosmetics and skin care so much, why don’t you consider selling them?” So I dove in head first, signed up to become a distributor and became a dedicated fan of having a part time job set up as my home based business. I love to earn extra incomeworking from home.  My mission has been to rescue other women from their wrinkles and dry lips. And, as they say, the rest is history.
